About “Urban Light”: LACMA’s “Urban Light” has solidified its place as a beloved Los Angeles landmark and a must-see for tourists and locals alike. Comprising 202 restored cast-iron lampposts, this installation brilliantly blends art, history, and urban culture, offering a myriad of photographic possibilities.

What to Expect: This captivating site offers a plethora of captivating photographic opportunities. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or a beginner, “Urban Light” provides the perfect canvas to unleash your creativity and capture remarkable images.

Save the Date: We will meet at LACMA on Thursday, September 28th at 5:00 PM for our first photoshoot of the year. Our photography club’s president and faculty advisor will be present to guide you throughout the excursion; they’ll help you discover unique perspectives, assist in bringing your creative vision to life, and provide technical support, whether you’re using a professional camera or your trusty iPhone.
